Fun4Kids, the outdoor toy specialists, have this month announced their Year on Year growth rate. From October 08 till October 09 Fun4Kids has grown by 230%.

Yes that’s 230%.  Yes that’s not bad. Why are we telling you all this? Well, that’s because it was about a year ago that The Pixel jumped on board with Fun4Kids to attempt to expand the business’ online presence, and with it, the business.

So why the massive growth in just one year? Well there are no doubt many reasons; the fact that Fun4Kids was already prospering as we joined will no doubt be one of them. But there are more measurable ways of understanding this success.

The Fun4Kids website has dramatically changed in the course of the last 12 months in terms of design, content and marketing.

Visually Fun4Kids has moved from a very basic, functional design to a more dynamic, graphically appealing theme that’s been produced specially to appeal to its core audience. Homepage banners and promotions have also played a large part in converting visits into sales.

The content of the website initially featured limited product descriptions and manufacturer provided text. This has been replaced with bespoke text written specifically per product, tailored to engage those that are reading and highlight the information most relevant to them. All content on the site has also been written to maximise SEO potential to improve search engine results.

Marketing wise, with our help Fun4Kids have invested wisely in Google AdWords that have been carefully selected to return the maximum benefit in terms of rankings and capturing those most important – people looking to buy.

Our email marketing campaigns, also targeted carefully per customer, have been successful in capturing readers with vibrant visuals and entertaining text to obtain click-throughs that not only drive customers to the site, but also convert that traffic into sales.
