The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is a new puzzle platformer from games developer 2K Games – who brought you Borderlands and BioShock. Our email newsletter featured screen shots of gaming imagery and a link to the YouTube video trailer.
The mailout for the game BioShock by 2K Games was a successful marketing campaign that featured dramatic gaming imagery and direct call-to-action links to retailing websites Play.com and Amazon.co.uk. BioShock was voted 2007 Game of the Year.
The Borderlands Competition Mailout for 2K Games publicised a brand new competition to win a weapon pack DLC. Large capitalised text conveyed the mailout headline message with impact, and a pre-order button at page foot provided further opportunities for click-throughs and orders.
We’ve just developed the website Content Management System (CMS) for games developer and animation specialists Natural Motion. Natural Motion are the creators of Dynamic Motion Synthesis (DMS), a breakthrough in 3D character animation that’s been used for games including Grand Theft Auto IV and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
This Oscar widget for Play.com lets the great movie going public scroll through the 2010 Oscar nominations, view trailers and vote thumbs-up or down for their favourite films. Customers can then link directly to the purchase screen of each film or be emailed a notification of the film’s release date.
Our Clothing Widget lets customers choose from Play.com’s clothing range, add them to a virtual wardrobe and then arrange them creatively on a mannequin to see what stylish outfit’s been selected – just like a changing room in a shop! The app automatically connects to the website to constantly update prices and stock.
The Sci-fi e-Catalogue is a digital Flash magazine that incorporates live price and stock updates with product imagery/descriptions, and magazine style editorials. The resulting catalogue provides an easily digestible mix of both entertainment and call-to-action purchasing
The Games e-book is a digital Flash magazine featuring nested videos within pages to show tantalising trailers of upcoming games to hook users and heighten buying potential. Products can be zoomed in on for a closer look, and pages can be tagged for future reference.

Our logo animation for games developer NaturalMotion is set to feature in the new American football game ‘Backbreaker’. We used Adobe After Effects to create the abstract design elements which form a glowing wave and impressive exploding sphere, to faithfully represent the NaturalMotion brand of excellence.
The Clothing e-Catalogue is a digital Flash magazine with live price and stock feeds attached to multiple ranges from Play.com’s clothing section. Heavily reflective of the product branding, manufacturer logos and design elements were incorporated for easy recognition to inspire purchasing.
The design for the Conservatives European Parliament website incorporated the newly established Conservative party branding with a functional display and navigation to accommodate content relating to the party’s European news and campaigns.
Comic book and video game company Valiant Entertainment’s website has an ultra stylised, page turning comic book theme to perfectly embody the website’s content. The main page content takes the form of a tasselled, weathered scroll.
The Take 2 Community is a gaming website that uses gaming imagery and iconography to create an arcade style ambiance that heavily reflects its purpose: for gamers to meet and talk shop.
The Zavvi Christmas Catalogue 2009 offered an entertaining mix of vibrant Zavvi branding, glossy product visuals and light-hearted copy to showcase the highlights of Zavvi’s Christmas product selection.
Lionsgate production The Spirit is a comic book adaptation, written and directed by cult hero Frank Miller. It stars Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson. The video banner features the iconic Sin City style black and white with intermittent colour and the moody Mise-en-scène of the film.
