Working alongside Lidl on its 'A Lidl Bit of Magic' campaign was one of the most exciting challenges we've ever undertaken here at The Pixel. Keeping to tight deadlines in the run-up to Christmas, we executed a three-pronged marketing assault that utilised web, smartphone app, and visual media promotions. Our in-house team of developers produced the app for Android and iOS platforms from scratch, while our management team handled the organisation of a film shoot with TV celebrity chef, Lesley Walters that was subsequently posted on the 'Lidl Bit of Magic' site. Designing this site came with its own individual challenges too, as our WordPress design had to be bolstered by ultra secure hosting to support the high volumes of traffic synonymous with Christmas promotions for such a well-recognised, household brand.
