You may have noticed the word ‘Beta’ above our blog. Although our new blog site is our current pride and joy, the truth is it was all a bit of an accident.

The Pixel’s blog site’s only reason for being is the amazing concept art we had drawn for our original new website design. The scene below was drawn from scratch and was bound to be our new flash based website. However, things gradually changed and we revised our design to be totally modelled in 3D animation – discarding our lovely pictures.

But we didn’t want to discard our lovely pictures, as we liked them. Thus The Pixel blog site was born into this crazy, ever changing world – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We’re currently in the heated development of our brand new 3D website retaining all the fantastic characters and scenery you can see on our current blog, but expanding the theme into a dynamic 3D fantasy world.

Strong words we hear you cry. What do we mean by 3D? We’re going to be using 3D animation to create a unique world where backdrops evolve dynamically as you navigate – birds fly, clocks change and smoke puffs. We’re confident this site will be one of the most unique and ambitious on the World Wide Web.

Users will be able to explore our world similar to a fantasy role play game, travelling from scene to scene and finding out about our design and marketing services along the way.

The Pixel village features a charmingly quaint backdrop to make users feel so at home they’ll want to take their shoes off and lounge about in their pants. They’ll be able to click left or right to display a map of the land and navigate their own way round. The style will be reminiscent of an open world, free running video game leaving people free to explore as they choose.

Users will be able to pick various portals and venture through (sometimes via a barrel submarine!) to the seasonal island of their choosing. The well, rabbit hole, cave and lift will go underground to a tunnel system of…wait for it… portfolios! So everyone can see all our splendid efforts while they’re down there.

There’s even a cinema showing all the latest hits…of our video banners and video editing – free of charge! Walk over to chosen buildings and hover and users will be able to see a snap shot of what’s inside. All you nosey parkers out there eat your nose off.

I hope we’ve thoroughly tempted your graphical taste buds, and that we’ve aroused enough of an appetite for you to continue to follow our progress right here on the blog. It’ll be well worth the wait.
