The Pixel Retail Event May 2026

On Wednesday 13th May, The Pixel hosted its latest Retail Event at the Adobe Offices.

Bringing together customers, retailers, partners, and digital commerce experts for a day focused on innovation and the future of eCommerce. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. The energy, engagement, and expertise shared throughout the day made it a fantastic success.

The Pixel Update

We kicked off the day with the latest updates from The Pixel, including an especially proud announcement from Adobe Summit, where The Pixel was recognised as the Adobe Customer Experience Orchestration Emerging Partner of the Year.

The session then featured recent customer website updates and success stories, highlighting measurable performance growth, digital innovation, and impactful ecommerce transformation projects delivered across a range of retail brands.

The Pixel’s Latest AI Developments and Innovations

The opening Pixel presentation then covered the hot topics of AI and AI innovation. At The Pixel, we have embraced AI to help both our business and our clients’ businesses drive greater efficiency, improve performance, and increase the throughput of work without compromising quality.

Our approach has been focused on:

  • Piloting new AI capabilities
  • Understanding and evaluating outcomes
  • Optimising processes and workflows
  • Rolling out proven solutions with confidence and governance

This measured strategy ensures the highest standards are maintained while delivering meaningful business value.

PX Hub Updates

The opening talk then covered the latest product updates for PX Hub, The Pixel’s proprietary performance monitoring platform designed to provide real-time insights and performance visibility across digital experiences.

New Features Released

  • Impact Analysis
  • A new reporting feature designed to highlight performance uplift based on releases, providing a clear view of what has improved and where teams should focus next.
  • Enhanced KPI Analysis
  • Expanded analysis capabilities across KPIs, page speed, delivery metrics, and more including trend lines and period comparisons to help identify meaningful patterns and opportunities.
  • Annotations
  • Users can now add annotations directly to visual reports, providing valuable business and operational context.
  • Release Visibility
  • Release events can now be viewed directly on performance visuals, making it easier to understand how deployments align with metric changes and customer impact.

Data & Consent Monitoring Services

The Pixel also introduced its new Data and Consent Monitoring Service, powered by ObservePoint.

This service helps businesses audit their websites to ensure:

  • Analytics accuracy
  • Privacy compliance
  • Marketing tag performance and governance

Why It Matters

  • Inaccurate data can lead to poor business decisions
  • Broken or duplicate tags can negatively impact campaign performance
  • Privacy regulations require ongoing monitoring and governance

As digital ecosystems become increasingly complex, maintaining clean, compliant, and trustworthy data is more important than ever.

Interactive Roundtable Discussions

Attendees participated in a series of collaborative roundtable sessions covering key industry topics, including:

  • Year-to-date ecommerce performance and future roadmaps
  • Customer data and acquisition strategies
  • B2B digital commerce
  • How businesses are adopting and operationalising AI

These roundtable sessions encouraged open discussion, knowledge sharing, and practical insights from the attendees. The roundtable sessions are always one of the highlights of The Pixel retail events.

Didomi Presentation: Consent Management in 2026

Didomi delivered an insightful session focused on the future of consent management and compliance.

Topics included:

  • The evolving regulatory landscape
  • ICO guidance and compliant cookie banners
  • Navigating fragmented consent frameworks
  • Unlocking better data activation through effective consent management

The session also included an engaging compliance-focused quiz that sparked valuable discussion among attendees.

Adobe Presentation: AI Visibility & LLM Optimisation

Adobe presented their LLM Optimizer product and the presentation explored how brands can use Adobe LLM Optimiser:

  • Measure presence in AI-generated responses
  • Receive prescriptive content recommendations
  • Automate optimisation improvements
  • Improve discoverability across AI-powered experiences

As AI-driven search continues to evolve, this area is becoming increasingly important for digital brands and retailers.
