eCommerce Awards 2020 took place virtually, 30 September, as part of the eCommerce Expo Virtual 2020. We were shortlisted multiple times, with clients National Trust, OSPREY LONDON & Poundshop.com, picking up 4 nominations in total. We're very happy to announce National Trust and The Pixel were victorious in the category of Best Website Launch / Relaunch.

Now in their twelfth year, eCommerce Awards consistently breaks new ground in highlighting some of the very best websites, online retailers, agencies and campaigns the ecommerce industry has to offer. Hosts have included Rob Beckett, Alistair McGowan, Danny Wallace and Katherine Ryan. Last night it was the turn of magician Ben Hanlin. Here's the moment he announced the award...

"An impressive site packed full of innovative features to enhance the customer experience"

eCommerce Awards 2020 once again received a high number of quality entries despite the current difficulties, so the win is an especially great achievement, this year more than any other. It's an epic achievement for all involved in what has been a exceptional project to be part of.

The award entry focused on the National Trust Online Shop migration onto Magento Commerce, and the resulting improved functionality and infrastructure that led to an increase YOY in site traffic of +31%, mobile conversions  of +21%, and more. The new build required integration with the main National Trust website in the form of nested frontend design features, a single sign-on account login that worked across all websites & platforms for customer ease of use, integrated extensions, and new features Gift Cards and Virtual Touring passes. Take at look at the full case study on our Magento Portfolio.

Many congratulations to all nominees and winners on the night. A full list can be found here: https://www.ecommerceawards.london/winners-2020/.
